About CoQ10+NADH

NADH+Ubiquinol provides an energy boost to every cell in the body, but especially to the heart and brain—where the highest concentrations of these two important coenzymes are found. Individuals within different cohorts have been shown to benefit from the combined energizing effect of these nutrients.  Studies performed by Dr. G.D. Birkmayer and team have shown some impressive results with just 20 milligrams of daily NADH supplementation in athletes. Participants found less lactic acid-related muscle fatigue after prolonged activity. This means that athletes could perform longer, and the recovery period between training sessions could be shorter, with the same rejuvenating results obtained from a longer rest period.  Second, users found 7% more energy, which is likely due to the fact that NADH triggers ATP production---the basic energy source of all cells.

Individuals who are concerned about neurodegenerative diseases or cognitive impairment may also benefit from CoQ10 and NADH supplementation. NADH has been studied globally for its potential in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. A large Austrian study demonstrated that oral supplementation of NADH improved dopamine production in almost 80% of the Parkinson’s patients involved. NADH has shown promise in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).

The effects of CoQ10 deficiency have been well documented in CFS, resulting in inflammation, oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction. In a study of 26 CFS patients, 31% showed a significant reduction in fatigue after NADH supplementation. Meanwhile, a larger study involving 58 patients (30 females, 28 males) suffering from a variety of typical fatigue illnesses such as CFS, Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia and Gulf War illness showed a 30.7% reduction in overall fatigue within 60 days of NADH treatment. (P < 0.001).

As an antioxidant, CoQ10 is a well-known cardiovascular protectant that is depleted cholesterol-lowering statin drugs.  A meta-analysis of over twenty CoQ10 studies concluded that use of the supplemental form of the nutrient has the potential to lower blood pressure without any significant side effects. These are just two ways how the combination of ubiquinol and NADH provides protection for those with cardiovascular concerns.

Conditions that may benefit from NADH+Ubiquinol include:
