"THE BARE BONES ABOUT K2-MK7"
About Vitamin K2
Vitamin K is found in certain fermented soy-based foods and green vegetables but it is rapidly metabolized and excreted by the body, necessitating regular replenishment to maintain levels. In addition, inconsistent dietary habits, soy allergy and intolerance, plus anti-coagulant medications all make it challenging to achieve consistent benefits from dietary vitamin K sources. While other forms of vitamin K-2 are available in supplement form, such as MK-4, research shows that MK-7 is the most bioavailable form. That’s why PLV Vitamin K-2 consists exclusively of micro-encapsulated MK-7—the most efficiently absorbed, stable form of vitamin K-2. It is double micro-encapsulated using a unique process that ensures compatibility with supplementary doses of minerals and a long shelf-life. Our MK-7 is dry form, soy-free, and produced from rose and geranium oils.
